Very good shrimp & eggplant parm! Never expected it in a diner but it was really good and the service is always great!

I ordered chicken tenders, a cheeseburger, and French fries off Uber Eats. Simple right? Well apparently not to the kitchen staff. The fries were horrible, not just bland but stale with 0 salt. I added sauce and they were still bad. They had spots on them too which means the potato was going bad. The burger was the worst part though, literally just a hunk of meat with cheese and buns. No vegetables except a pathetic slice of pickle on the side even though the menu clearly states it should come with lettuce, tomato, and cole slaw. The best part was the honey mustard that came with the nuggets which they probably ordered from a warehouse. Eat here if you want old fries and a burger you have to make yourself

quite staff and food was good. it's a busy diner which is a good sign that the food is good. saw a lot of locals eating here. the danishes looked good as well. the French fries were nice and crunchy/crispy. no rush by the waitress to leave which was nice. the wait for food wasn't too long either. the bathroom is a single stall and it was relatively clean. would return to this place for breakfast sometime to try their breakfast items - saw a lot of people eating breakfast foods.

Just had a great meal. Had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. They were...... awesome!! Fresh crab cake egg poached just right. Would of liked a bit more sauce but the cakes! Delicious. Maria my server was great and kept the coffee coming. Thanks.

My go to diner always. Their fries are my favorite, always so crispy and fresh and their greek salad and dressing is my FAVE. Also, they quite literally have the best chocolate pastries ever. 10/10

I never leave a bad review but my husband and I just had the most awful breakfast at Livingston Diner. First of all we were served weak, cool coffee. Then our meal which we waited over 20 minutes to get (eggs, how long do they take to cook?) was served cold. We sent it back and when we were served it again, after the microwaving, it was warm to the touch, but still not hot. We were very surprised since we have eaten there in the past, but will not be doing so in the future.

Good diner food. They have the right kind of of fat diner breakfast sausage I like not those awful pattes. Service fine. Traditional, maybe a little older crowd.

Typical Jersey diner done well. The service can get lousy when it is busy. But, we come here regularly for breakfast- usually consistent good food.

Enjoyed breakfast here. Prompt service, clean seating areas, friendly staff and good food. Love their french fries and pork roll meat. Definitely a must to have breakfast at if you are in the area. I'm sure lunch and dinner is the same great taste.

The place is quaint and we went at 11am right before it got busy. It is a popular haven for the older set and families which was nice to see because I took my parents there. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. I would visit again and recommend for American diner fare.

PROS: This diner has a great reputation in the area. Lots of parking, place is clean, and the food is good! The prices are great for a diner and there's a lot to choose from. Our waiter, Donovan, was very helpful and nice to us. He made the experience there better.CONS: The place was a little small so it couldn't hold as many people as a regular diner. The bathroom wasn't that big therefore it could cause a line to form if the place was busy.OVERALL: Great diner! Definitely going to come back here when I visit again! And if you decide to come here ask to be served by Donovan, he'll take care of you well

The decor is a treat in itself, the staff are friendly and attentive.The service was prompt and polite. The food was a delight! Try their fries!

I really like this place. The prices are reasonable and the service is much,much better than the Ritz. The owner is always walking around talking to the customers. It will never win awards for nicest place to eat, but its clean, the food is good and fresh. The servers are also very nice as well. A must -try place in Livingston

Food isn't good. Concentrated grapefruit juice. Waiter is good service. Ritz and chit chat much much better.

Solid service and food. Went with a large party with kids and they handle us pretty quickly. Lots of options for any tastes. The parking is kind of tight but manageable.

I really liked the food at this diner and the general vibe if the place. The service was really good and the food taste and portions were just right for me. I am not crazy about diners that just grease it up with large portions, this one was more up my alley. Seems like it's been around for awhile. I tried the spinach and feta omelette, it was pretty good.

My wife’s and my favorite little diner in Livingston. Service is always on point and their French fries taste amazing. Friendly staff are always there to serve. This place does get the typical lunch and dinner rush with St. Barnabas hospital right down the road so be mindful of this. Definitely recommend.

Old school, classic Jersey diner. I've been there many times and never had a bad meal.

The service was good not much to choose from the menu for lunch otherwise the waitress was very kind, nothing like chit chat the best so far.

What to Expect - Classic NJ diner setting.- Seating, not overly large and not tiny- Service was average What We Got- Chicken Parm sandwich: pretty excellent. Toasted bun. Cheese melted. Chicken cutlet fried up pretty decently. - Turkey Club Triple Decker - a little too much turkey, overpowered the bite.

Always good food and great service

I wanted something off the menu and it was not available. I do not recommend it. I know I sound like a big baby but honestly the point of a dinner is to eat w.e at any given time. This place failed me and dinners everywhere
